CAMMAC invites amateur musicians to spend a weekend in the company of the great German Master under the direction of two of Montreal’s top early music experts
Cantata “Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir”, BWV 131 for oboe, bassoon, strings, SATB soli, SATB chorus and basso continuo
with Christopher Jackson, co-founder and Artistic Director of the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal (SMAM)
Orchestral selections by Bach and his contemporaries (Telemann, Handel)
with Hank Knox, Associate Professor, Performance Music Chair for Early Music and Harpsichord, Schulich School of Music, McGill University
Plus: German diction and vocal technique with Yves Saint-Amant; opportunities to sing and play in small ensembles
