June 30: Duo Piazzolla: Tango Classico!
Isabelle Héroux, guitar, and Chantal Dubois, flute
The music of the tango, an intoxicating cascade of opposing emotions from misery to happiness or from rapture to delightful ecstasy, is presented here in the instrumental form that witnessed its birth in the brothels of Buenos Aires: the flute and guitar duo. This lively and passionate journey through history reveals the fusion of popular and classical styles heard here in the works of Piazzolla, Pujol and Kirschner.
July 7:Vincent Lauzer, recorder, et Mark Edwards, harpsichord : La Castella
The award-winning Vincent Lauzer and Mark Edwards present a program of 17th-century Italian works for recorder and harpsichord. From the variations on popular madrigals to the virtuoso sontatas of Castello and Pandolfi Mealli, not to mention some tender moments offered by Johann Heinrich Schmelzer, this concert will be the perfect occasion to rediscover the recorder and harpsichord in a completely new light!

August 4: QW4RTZ , a cappella vocal quartet
With pop hits from the Colocs to Stromae, and from Coldplay to Jacques Brel, the four QW4RTZ boys will make you laugh and cry, but they will especially make you forget that they do all of it using ONLY their voices!
August 11: Eric Abramovitz, clarinet, and Roslyn Abramovitz, piano
One of the finalists in the 2012 Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières competition, Eric Abramovitz has also won first prize in the OSM Standard Life Competition (2011) and has been called “Canada’s next clarinet superstar” by CBC Radio Music.
