MUSICIAN’S POSTURE: TOES TO HEAD – THE COMFORT TOOLBOX

Test your sense of balance and discover how you can be lighter and more agile! Véronique will introduce you to the basics of healthy posture through a series of exercises and positionings, with and without your instrument.

SECRETS TO GOOD BREATHING: LET’S PLAY MUSIC BY CONSCIOUS AND ADAPTED BREATHING

Breathing is an automatic function of the body, but musicians need to be able to consciously manage and adapt their breathing according to the physical requirements of their playing or singing. Véronique will introduce you to the basics of breathing and the physiological mechanisms required to breathe efficiently as a musician.

MUSICIAN’S INJURIES: THE TOOLBOX FOR HEALTHY PRACTICE

Musician’s injuries happen over time, and can be hard to manage. Véronique will discuss the most common physical problems encountered by singers and instrumentalists, identify risk factors as well as suggest preventative measures that include work strategies, global posture, management of psychological stress and healthy lifestyle adaptations.
