Performance anxiety affects almost every artist who performs on stage. Many great musicians have suffered from it, including Callas, Chopin, Horowitz and many more. But just because you suffer from anxiety doesn’t mean you have to suffer without being able to do anything about it.
As a musician, how do you manage your performance anxiety?
Véronique Brouillette from La Clinique de l’artiste offers solutions for musicians to help them combat stress, stage fright and performance anxiety. Her workshop, Mental practice: a major tool to deal with stress, stage fright and performance anxiety, proposes to guide the musician step by step in implementing effective mental practices to better manage the various sources of stress you experience as a musician.
The workshop is organized in 4 sessions of one hour each, with the goal of learning and developing your mental practice habits, within the following themes: relaxation, concentration, imagery and additional mental practices. Each theme is a prerequisite to the next to allow your brain to integrate and reach the desired mental level.
This workshop is offered in both french and english.
Don’t wait, registrations are open until Monday!
