Deena’s first summer at CAMMAC was the final year of the old building, giving her the memory and perspective on how the place has evolved. Since then, she has been a regular at Broadway Week, occasionally attending other sessions when her schedule allowed. She traces her love for broadway from her childhood with memories of car rides filled with her parents singing Broadway classics at full volume. Regarding chamber music, Deena studied the violin through high school. After a 20-year break, she returned to the instrument and hasn’t looked back.
Outside of CAMMAC, Deena recently retired from a career as an IT business analyst and project manager, having worked at VIA Rail and Morgan Stanley.
