Hazel is a Montreal-based freelance translator with a degree in mining engineering. She attended CAMMAC sporadically through childhood and adolescence. In the mid-1970s, her family bought one of the nearby Septet cottages, and since then, Lake MacDonald and CAMMAC have been synonymous with summer for multiple generations of de Neeves. An amateur violinist and violist, Hazel enjoys music-making with CAMMAC friends when still-busy schedules permit, ideally anchored by a week of chamber music during the summer season.
