Ian Hepburn has taught piano and harp privately at his studio in Vankleek Hill, Ontario for many years and teaches harp, ukulele, xylophone and recorder in elementary schools. He holds Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy.

Ian has a special interest in playing harp for people in palliative care and for residents in Long-Term Care and has taught courses in introductory harp at Algonquin College in Ottawa to people working in health care.

At one point and for several years, Ian studied Sitar and Tabla. and took one lesson on Shakhuhachi but was a miserable failure at all of it.

In a half-life, Ian is a handweaver and sells his work through several galleries. His work has been exhibited around the world.
