Born and raised in British Columbia, Jason Stillman moved to Montreal to pursue a degree at McGill University in 2006. Since then, he has played with several well-known local musicians including Remi Bolduc, Andre White, Dave Laing, and Joe Sullivan. He leads the Jason Stillman Quartet and Saturated Blue, a group dedicated to playing their favourite Blue Note Records recordings with a different spin.
Stillman holds a doctoral degree in music from the University of Toronto and teaches saxophone and jazz improvisation at the McGill Conservatory.
