Cellist Julie Trudeau is regularly invited as a soloist and chamber musician to prestigious festivals and concert societies in America, Europe, and Asia. She has performed as a soloist with various orchestras and served as the cellist of the Molinari Quartet (2000-2007), collaborating with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Esprit Orchestra in Toronto.

After studying with Walter Joachim, Julie Trudeau furthered her training in Paris under the guidance of Philippe Muller, supported by a scholarship from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Demonstrating a strong commitment to the new generation of musicians, she closely collaborates with young performers and frequently engages in guiding the creative process of emerging composers.

Julie Trudeau is an esteemed member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and the Sela Trio. Previously, she held positions in renowned ensembles such as the Molinari Quartet, the Ponticello Cello Quartet, and Ensemble Transmission. Her exceptional musicality can be heard on recordings released by reputable labels including ATMA, XXI-21, Naxos, and Disque SRC.

In addition to her performances, Julie Trudeau has been actively involved in education for several years. She imparts her knowledge and passion to aspiring musicians at institutions such as Cégep Marie-Victorin, Joseph-François-Perrault School in CSDM, and the esteemed Laurentian Music Camp.
