
Lisa Lorenzino serves as chair of Music Education at McGill University, where she works with pre-service music educators. She is also a flute clinician, concert band conductor, music education researcher, theory/solfege teacher, and jazz flutist. A veteran of the classroom, Lisa has taught vocal jazz, jazz ensemble, concert band, concert choir and guitar at the junior-high and high-school levels in Canada for 14 years. She is active as a performer in the Montreal area, heading the Montreal Jazz Flute Summit with flutists Jennifer Bell, Dave Gossage and Frank Lozano and performing Cuban and Brazilian music with the Lisa Lorenzino Trio. For the past three years, Lisa has been an enthusiastic member of the Montreal Gospel Choir. She loves travelling, learning new languages, and dancing.
