Australian-born, tenor Nils Brown is now based in Montreal. Known for his versatility, he is regularly in demand by major orchestras and choral societies in the United States, Canada and Great Britain, appearing with the Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton Symphony Orchestras, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Portland Baroque Orchestra, the Handel and Haydn Society of Boston, the American Bach Soloists, the Four Nations Ensemble, the Washington Bach Consortium, and the Washington Bach Consortium, the Handel and Haydn Society of Boston, the American Bach Soloists, the Four Nations Ensemble, the Washington Bach Consort, the Elora Singers, the Mendelssohn Choir of Toronto, the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, the CBC Vancouver Orchestra, the Aradia Ensemble and at the Lamèque Baroque Festival. He has recorded with Aradia, the American Bach Society and the Washington Bach Consort. He recently sang Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro (in French) in Chicoutimi with La Société lyrique du Royaume.
