Montreal native, David Terriault currently holds a Bachelor in classical piano at McGill University after graduating with honours from Marie Victorin’s classical and pop piano program. Over the past years, David has been working as an accompanist at McGill University and Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal and studying with the renowned pianist Olivier Godin. After winning several prizes as a solo pianist at different classical music competitions, the 2014 META committee nominated David as Outstanding Emerging Artist for his work in theatre community as a musical director. Recent credits as a musical director include Le Prince et le Pauvre (Montreal and New York), The Wild Party, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (IYFE), Songs for a New World (Players’ Theatre), Godspell (BCT), Spring Awakening (Persephone & Centaur Theatre) Fiddler on the Roof, Catch Me If You Can, Hairspray (CSLDS), On Second Avenue, Forever Plaid and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Segal Centre).
