BANQUET AND THANKSGIVING BALL

🍁 Beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday October 8, a five-course banquet will be served in Lucy Hall (appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, and dessert). Vegetarian/vegan/allergy/gluten-free options are available with advance notice only. You can purchase wine by the glass or by the bottle at the bar, to be enjoyed with your meal.

🍁 Following the banquet, the Thanksgiving Ball will be hosted by Marie-Nathalie Lacoursière, and her partner Bobby Thompson (Les jardins chorégraphiques).

Participants will have the opportunity to learn three dances during the evening:

  • A 16th-century pavane – danced to Fabritio Caroso’s Celeste Giglio.
  • A 19th-century waltz – danced to a Chopin waltz.
  • A Paris 1920s/30s inspired tango – danced to Por una Cabeza (Carlos Gardel; Alfredo Le Pera).

Marie-Nathalie and Bobby will perform each dance, and then teach the dance to participants.

You are invited to attend the ball in costume (not obligatory), either in 16th-century Renaissance style or Parisian fashion from the 20s and 30s.

The banquet and Thanksgiving Ball are open to the public ($50 per person, taxes not included). Tickets are available by advance reservation only, by contacting reservations@cammac.ca.

🍁 On Saturday October 7 from 5 p.m. to  6:30 p.m., we will gather in Lucy Hall for an informal discussion over a drink about CAMMAC’s future. Come and share your vision of CAMMAC in 10, 20, or 70 years.
Open to the public.

Please note that this schedule may be subject to change.
