Choral Work:  Magnificat by Heinrich Schütz

With Heinrich Schütz’s Latin Magnificat SWV 468 as our main choral work, the week will focus on the music of German Baroque masters Samuel Scheidt, Johann Schein and Heinrich Schütz. There will also be classes featuring Medieval and Renaissance music.
