Each December since 1987, CAMMAC Ottawa-Gatineau has staged \u201cCome Sing Messiah\u201d, a production which gathers hundreds of choir singers together in Ottawa\u2019s Dominion-Chalmers to sing Handel\u2019s great choral work, conducted by Louis Lavigueur.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Unable to come together in 2020 for this annual holiday extravaganza due to the pandemic, CAMMAC Ottawa-Gatineau <\/span>refused to be daunted and instead, they have brought the Messiah online. Organist and choir conductor Matthew Larkin and producer Kevin Reeves have put together a documentary that includes excerpts from Richard Burman\u2019s video of CAMMAC\u2019s 25th Messiah (permission of Richard Burman\u2019s estate), and photos by Richard Guy Briggs and Graham Carpenter. The show concludes with a wonderful jazzy version of the Messiah on the piano by Matthew Larkin.
