Occasionally Readings feature pieces for <em>a capella<\/em> choir (singers only) or symphonies or other orchestral works (instrumentalists only). The Readings are structured more like an initial rehearsal than as a performance.<\/p>\n<p>The event is <span class=\"red\">open to everyone<\/span> and <span class=\"red\">no preparation is required<\/span>.<strong>\u00a0Registration for the reading is first come, first served, with the first-come player entitled to their choice of orchestral position and players signing up later, seated in order.
