WE NEED YOUR HELP

As you can see, there are only three of us on the CAMMAC regional committee. We can’t do everything on our own. To ensure continuity of the regional committee’s activities, we are asking all members in the Montreal area to consider joining us.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER: 3 POSSIBILITIES
There are three ways to volunteer for CAMMAC Montreal.

1) Occasional volunteer: Get involved by helping with a single activity or event;
2) Activity volunteer: Get involved by working with a team to lead an activity;
3) Management volunteer: Get involved by managing an activity or holding a position on the regional committee.

Volunteers needed for communications

Email Marketing (MailChimp): sending promotional materials and communications to CAMMAC members and contact lists
Graphic Designer: creating promotional visuals for the musical activity committees
Communications Coordinator (regional committee position)
Regional Newsletter Editor (L’Express): newsletter layout and dissemination

MUSICAL ACTIVITIES COMMITTEES

Musical Chairs Committee – Additional volunteers wanted

The Musical Chairs activity took a break in 2023. This free activity has always been exclusively reserved for CAMMAC members. An analysis of the list of participants as of April 2023 showed that 42% were not CAMMAC members, some of whom had never been members. This finding made us realize the difficulties of enforcing a members-only policy. It was therefore necessary to revise the concept of this activity. A new Musical Chairs Committee was formed in early April 2023 and is currently working to relaunch this activity. Any additional volunteers are welcome.

Let’s Sing the Messiah Committee – Additional volunteers wanted

This committee was established in October 2023. The first edition of Chantons le Messie on December 8 of 2023 was a success. The committee will resume its planning activities for the second edition in late May or early June 2024. Any other volunteers are welcome.
