Len Torrie is a soprano and performance curator based in Montréal. Known for their crystalline tone, style, and storytelling artistry, Len performs regularly as a soloist with leading early music and classical ensembles in Montreal and across North America. Len’s emotional and folk inspired curations resonate intimately with audiences, blending worlds of folk, baroque, renaissance, and medieval music. Len is one-third of the medieval trio COMTESSA, where they sing and play Anglo-Saxon lyre. Guided by elders and ancestors, Len is devoted to the creation of radically inclusive stories, channeling queer wisdom to musically explore that which is most richly human.
