Canadian pianist Anthony Lampron has built a multifaceted career as a collaborative pianist, vocal coach, and accompanist. Over the years, he has developed a particular affinity for vocal repertoire, supported by a strong interest in languages and diction.

He currently serves as principal accompanist for the Chœur classique de l’Outaouais and the Chœur classique d’Ottawa (SPNM), and has worked with numerous singers and ensembles, including the Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau Choir, the University of Ottawa Choir, the École Massé Children’s Choir, and La Chanterelle de la Lièvre, which he accompanied on tour in France and Spain in 2018. As a soloist, he will be featured in the 2026 season in performances of Palmieri’s Missa di Requiem with the Société Philharmonique du Nouveau Monde. Audiences in Ottawa and Montreal have also heard him in the Candlelight Concerts tribute programs to Coldplay and Elton John. In 2021, he performed the celesta solo in Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker with the Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau. During the 2021–2022 season, he served as pianist for ballet classes at The School of Dance in Ottawa. Earlier engagements include the Corso di Perfezionamento (Italy, 2018), the Bologna International Opera Academy (Italy, 2017), and work at McGill University from 2013 to 2015.

As a accompanist, he has performed opera, operetta, and musical theatre productions. His opera credits include Falstaff (Verdi), L’Heure espagnole (Ravel), and Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni) with the Théâtre d’art lyrique de Laval. With the Atelier Lyrique de Chambly, he has worked on operettas such as Die Fledermaus (Strauss), La Périchole (Offenbach), and Les Bavards (Offenbach). In musical theatre, he has collaborated on productions of Wicked (Schwartz) and Il était un pois… (Rodgers) with the Université de Montréal.

After completing his piano performance studies at the Université de Montréal, he pursued advanced training in vocal coaching in Berlin with pianists Denyse Saint-Pierre, Esther Gonthier, and Byron Knutson. In 2024, he earned a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Ottawa under the guidance of Frédéric Lacroix.
