Geneviève Décarie has a Bachelor degree in music from Ottawa University and a Masters degree in music teaching from Université du Québec en Outaouais. Ms. Décarie acquired the second level Orff certification and is specifically interested in teaching and music creation in an educational context. For the last 18 years, she has been teaching music at the elementary and pre-school levels at the Portages-de-l’Outaouais school board. Ms. Décarie conducts the Vieux-Verger choir in addition to leading several musical activities at her school. Furthermore, she writes and publishes teaching material for music teachers, and she offers advanced workshops in music teaching. Finally, Geneviève has been teaching Orff classes at Cammac since 2005.
